A great idea to promote entrepreneurs: Kerala State Entrepreneur Self Development Mission (KSSEDM)




Bramma aims to provide valuable information to all the business aspirants in Kerala through different attempts. KSSEDM is an ambitious scheme of the Government of Kerala, aims at inculcating entrepreneurial confidence among youth of the State through the process of selecting persons with aptitude and earnestness, training them meticulously and enabling them avail finance on easy terms from Banks/Financial Institutions. The dream project of Sri. K.M. Mani, Hon. Minister for Finance, Law and Housing, declared Budget Speech 2011-12 and accorded sanction through G.O.(Ms) 590/11/Fin. Dated 18.12.2011, the Mission aims at establishment of 10 micro enterprises in each local body in five years thereby giving encouragement to 50,000 entrepreneurs, about 50,000 more employment opportunities and much more indirect employment. The selected entrepreneurs will be get interest free financial assistance by Bank/Financial Institutions up to 90% of the project cost subject to a maximum of 20 Lakhs. They are the nodal agency implementing this project. This is a Panchayath level scheme aimed at educated but unemployed youth
